Boker Tov (good morning)!

It was wonderful to see all of you and your children on Monday.  It’s great having our returning students back, and meeting all of our new students! The year is already off to a great start, and there is a lot more great learning in store!

Here is a note from Morah Tamar:
“It was great to meet everybody on Monday. The day was a great warm up for the year, as we worked to feel comfortable in the class.  We learned a hello rhyme in Hebrew that we will say at the beginning of every class. We sang a song together “Uga Uga ….Lashevet (to sit), Lakum (to stand)”  two verbs that will help us during T’filah, and during class time, getting ready for a year filled with Hebrew learning!
-Morah Tamar”

We also had our first communal t’filah, coming together in song and prayer in the sanctuary.  Hearing all of the voices singing so beautifully together was a perfect way to begin the school year.
I’m looking forward to seeing many of you tomorrow at our Family Shabbat Lunch after services!

Shabbat Shalom,
